Only use "genuine" parts manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer.
"Look alike" or "imitation" parts are not made on the same tooling and to the same materials and tolerance standards.

If you use replacement beams or frames in just one part of your pallet racking installation then the whole installation is at risk and will not meet SEMA standards.

Because beams can be adjusted and moved to different locations, or frames can be re-located, it is not possible to be sure in future use that you know where the genuine components are. Only the manufacturers components will meet the design, loading and stability standards specified in the design data.

If you have a future claim on a health and safety issue then using "look alike" parts in any part of an installation will potentially increase your liability.

Stodec can carry out repair work for you and our experience in making surrounding areas safe and knowing which components will need replacing and how to replace them could save you significant operating time and cost. If we repair your racking installation then the original load and performance data is maintained.

If damage to your equipment is a continuing problem, we can advice on protection and barrier components (see Safety and Inspection page) as a preventative measure.
