The legendary soul duo of Sam & Dave rose to fame with a succession of R&B top 10 hits on Stax Records in 1966/67 Their dynamic, gospel-inspired stage act was also witnessed by UK fans when the duo toured Europe with the Stax Revue in 1967. After a further deal with Atlantic ended the pair returned with this album arranged and produced by Stax guitar legend Steve Cropper. Back At Cha was released on United Artists in 1974, and is now re-issued for the first time on CD All backed by a band featuring Duck Dunn, Al Jackson and Steve Cropper from the MGs, along with Memphis stalwarts Marvell Thomas, Willie Hall and the Memphis Horns.
