A few shots from a hill62 day out....
Probably the first proper day of the year - Spring and all that.
So after a swift breakfast (sophisticated - croissants on the terrace - no expense spared here) and a bit of a rmini-ramp ride for the energetic and we're walking through (aka UP!) the Chilterns.
First roll sees a couple of stacks. After that it's up further to create a new run or two. Totally nailed by branches (in face, not great).
Find a good long fire road - about 1/2 mile in total - cruisy - like a blue snowboard run through trees.
Then find a fast drop into a natural quarter pipe (at least 25 feet high but with a forgiving transition - see shots).
Followed by a bit of bowl riding and some small natural kicker riding.
Then a couple of nuts ('gnarly dude' if you like to talk in tinsel town speak) downhill single-track runs.
Lunch. Some skating for the insane.
Car.
New spot.
Mental road run. Moss is not good. Followed by what became known on the day as the 'death chute' (one line, no errors, mental.). No-one died.
And after that, just some very long, cruisy, snowboardy (not a word) trails. Drifting and tired as you like. 3/4 mile up...and again.
A long day.
Sports beers were a good idea for those left in the sticks.
This is hill62. The no bullsh*t mountainboarding company.
