Nothing worse than getting a flat when out on a mammoth freeride session. Always best get aa tube in your backpack.

Puncture repair kits are always a pain in the ar*e, so get one of these in the bag (and don't forget tools and a pump.....obvious really).

Some tips for mending a puncture.....

1) Get someone else to do it for you.
2) Otherwise delegate the task.
3) Do get the said helper to feel inside the tube for the culprit thorn. It will nearly always be there.
4) For chrissakes don't nip the tube when you put the rim together. Easily done but very stupid.

And don't be the next person who calls and asks 'why is the tyre so hard to get off with tyre levers?'......
